Prior to starting pupillage, Harriet worked for two years at the Serious Fraud Office, where she worked on cases involving serious and complex fraud, as well as international bribery and corruption, spanning multiple jurisdictions.
Harriet also spent two years working as a paralegal in immigration law, drafting applications, pre-action letters and skeleton arguments for use in immigration and asylum cases. During this time Harriet also volunteered with the Free Representation Unit, representing claimants before the Employment Tribunal.
Harriet has also volunteered for Advocate, BVL - helping students from non-traditional legal backgrounds to pursue careers in the law - and for a charity assisting refugees and asylum seekers in Greece.
