Thank you to those who attended our Stop Arbitrary Detention Initiative (SADI) seminar, “Liberty in Limbo: Arbitrary Detention and the Role of the International Lawyer” which took place last month.
We welcomed the opportunity to share with you the work of 9BR Chambers and the Transnational Justice Initiative in challenging the practice of arbitrary detention.
Initiative success
We are delighted to announce the release of 14 women and children from medical detention in the DRC, who were released last month with the help of local partners on the ground.
We would like to thank all those involved in this important initiative, which sits alongside the development of our strategic litigation in the region.
