We are delighted to welcome Heidi Stonecliffe KC to 9BR Chambers as a Door Tenant.
Heidi was called to the Bar in 1996 and made silk in 2020.
Heidi joined the cps in 2006, since then she has prosecuted cases involving multiple defendants accused of offences relating to the importation and supply of drugs, firearms offences, people trafficking, gang murders and homicide offences.
She is the first woman in the CPS to take silk and was the fourth person to do so in its history. On 1 January 2026, Heidi will become Vice Chair of the Bar Council as the first employed practitioner to be elected to the position.
