Corinne Bramwell's client acquitted of causing grievous bodily harm with intent and non-fatal strangulation


Following a 6-day trial, Mr D was acquitted of causing grievous bodily harm with intent, inflicting grievous bodily harm, non-fatal strangulation and controlling and coercive behaviour.

Mr D admitted breaking his wife's arm and causing bruising to her neck in self-defence having mistakenly believed her to have been an intruder in their home.
