Graeme Logan represented a Romanian lorry driver who was arrested and charged with importing cocaine with a street value of £12.5m into the UK. The drugs were concealed amongst a legitimate load in the trailer of the lorry being driven by the defendant.
He was stopped by UK Border Force after a scan of the lorry discovered an anomaly with his load. He maintained throughout that he was unaware of the consignment.
He was acquitted following a 4 day trial at Basildon Crown Court.
Graeme was instructed by Prem Sidhu of Noble Solicitors.
