Joe Holmes to speak at panel discussion: A Career in International Justice, Development and Rule of Law Capacity Building


On Tuesday 3rd February 2026 at 5:30pm, Joe Holmes will be speaking at the panel discussion: A Career in International Justice, Development and Rule of Law Capacity Building: Pathways and Insights – 'Can we make a difference?' hosted at the Inner Temple.

This event brings together leading practitioners in international justice, rule of law reform and development to explore the wide range of career opportunities in this demanding but rewarding field. 

Joe will be discussing the impact a justice consultant can have on a systemic embedded problems such as corruption, in post-conflict democracies, and explain how to get started in this field of work.

The event is aimed at students and practitioners interested in full-time, secondment, pro bono and/or “low bono” roles in international development, human rights and rule of law. It will offer practical guidance on qualifications, skills, languages, funding realities, where to find opportunities and how to build a pathway into this field.
