Jordan Santos-Sindes represented AA who was accused of two oral rapes and threats to kill, on two separate complainants.
The allegation dated back to 2020. The two complainants in this matter were cousins, one was not previously known to AA. It was alleged that AA had invited them back to an address, where he then proceeded to orally rape each of them under the repeated threat of being stabbed, should they not do as he requested. AA asserted that he had had consensual oral sex with both females, following which they demanded money from him or that they would report him to the police. AA refused to give them money and the police arrested him hours later.
After making further disclosure requests concerning information in the crime report during the trial, Jordan cross-examined the complainant regarding disclosures that she had made to the police which supported AA’s assertion; that he had been blackmailed by the complainants and also about refusals to provide her telephone device.
Following a 9-day trial at Inner London Crown Court Jordan’s client was acquitted of all counts on the indictment.
