Katrina Charles successfully prosecuted a married couple of multiple counts of child cruelty with respect to two children.
The couple had also pleaded guilty on the first day of trial to ‘being the owner of a dog which caused injury while dangerously out of control in a private place’ namely an American XL Bully type named Maverick.
The defendants Kim Driver aged 52 and Perry Driver aged 67 of previous good character were sentenced to 6 years imprisonment.
Katrina was instructed by the CPS.
