In early September 2026, Stefan Hyman’s client was discharged at Westminster Magistrates’ Court. The District Judge found that his client’s extradition to Romania constituted a disproportionate interference with her children’s Article 8 ECHR rights. She was sought to serve a 2.5-year sentence for serious fraud and acquisitive offences.
