Zacharias Miah leading Sumita Mahtab represented a Defendant facing numerous counts of historical rape.
The Defendant was found not guilty of grooming and raping a young girl in Rotherham in the early 2000s. The Defendant was unanimously acquitted of all counts after a trial at Sheffield Crown Court.
The alleged offences, which occurred between 2003 and 2004 involved extensive social media, television media and publication of material in the public domain.
