Simon Stirling, leading Emma Heath, successful in a submission of no case to answer

The Defendant faced a single count of conspiracy to engage in human trafficking together with eight other defendants. The trial took place at Winchester Crown Court. After four weeks of evidence, Simon and Emma successfully argued that there was insufficient evidence to be left to the jury. The judge directed the jury to return a not guilty verdict.
