This week, the trial concerning the alleged murders of William Birchard and Darren George commenced at Guildford Crown Court.
Emma-Louise Heath, led by Rossano Scamardella KC, is representing the lead defendant, Alex Rose, who is accused of driving his Ford Raptor into the back of the E-bike on which the two victims were riding.
The case also involves two other defendants charged with murder, as well as the ex-partner of Alex Rose, facing charges of Perverting the Course of Justice.
The trial is expected to last six weeks.
