Nutan Fatania prosecuted two Defendants who were jointly accused of launching a harrowing knifepoint attack on a female and male that were star gazing in Barking Park in August 2025.
The Defendants made threats to stab and kill, holding them at knifepoint to enable the first Defendant to rape her. Thereafter, the second Defendant also raped the female and carried out a further sexual assault.
Following trial, the jury convicted the Defendants of two counts of rape, assault by penetration, two counts of threatening with a bladed article and false imprisonment. The Defendants await sentence.
